Well, according to some people over at mahalo.com there were either about 800 or 37,o00 albums released in 2008. Either way, I think it's safe to say that very few of us listened to more than a negligible portion of these recordings. At last count, I purchased/listened to a mere 48 of them, so I think it would be a bit presumptuous to come up with a list of my "top 25" or even "top 10". 7 seems to feel right. Here's the list:
